Au Pair is one of the most popular programs for German language learners who dream of living, studying and opening career opportunities in Germany. Apart from providing the opportunity to experience life with Gastfamilie, this program is also useful for improving German language skills, getting to know German culture directly, and expanding career opportunities in the future.

Seeing the high level of interest, Deutsch Kompass and Deutsch lernen mit Fara collaborated on the Sammelpunkt: Special Edition event on Saturday, July 25 2026. This event succeeded in bringing together more than 60 participants to get information and discuss the Au Pair program in Germany.

The main session in this event presented Rafa Meidina, German Au Pair Alumni, who shared travel stories, tips and important information about the Au Pair program. The participants' enthusiasm was clearly visible throughout the session. An active question and answer session showed the participants' great interest in understanding the Au Pair program in more depth directly from the alumni.

Sammelpunkt: Special Edition is also a networking space for participants. Participants are invited to practice their German language skills through various interactive games with the Deutsch Kompass team. This activity creates a relaxed but still educational learning atmosphere, as well as being an opportunity for participants to practice their German language skills and interact with fellow participants.


We believe that every big journey always starts with the first step, with the right information, a supportive community, and the courage to try. Through this event, it is hoped that more and more Au Pair warriors will have sufficient knowledge and self-confidence to make their dreams come true.
